Here at Executive Kia, we’re always excited to see what kind of new features will end up in our favorite models. The auto industry is evolving rapidly, and we know that the Kia brand is always keeping up. One way it’s doing that is by introducing artificial intelligence, or AI, to its vehicles. This technology could arrive way before you would expect.
The Intelligent Personal Agent will make its debut at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. Instead of borrowing from Amazon or Google, the Kia brand will have its own unique tech aimed at assisting the driver with multiple tasks. This technology would be able to do many of the things that you’ve come to expect from traditional voice assistants. You’ll be able to control certain functions, check your schedule, or even receive helpful suggestions on the road.
This tech would separate itself from current digital assistants in one key way though. The Intelligent Personal Agent would offer “multiple-command recognition” capabilities. That means that issuing two commands, like asking about the weather and confirming an afternoon meeting, won’t confuse it. The system found in future Kia cars will be a bit more advanced than what you’re used to. You can expect to see this technology show up in select Kia models in 2019, with all vehicles offering the Intelligent Personal Agent by 2025. We can’t wait to see this new tech in action for ourselves!
